The River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve is Australia’s first, joining an elite group of less than 20 remarkable dark reserves around the world. The Reserve includes approximately 80 kilometres of the magnificent Murray River and surrounding region and offers some of the darkest skies on the planet. The good news is that you don’t need a telescope and fancy star gazing equipment in order to experience how incredible the stars can be in this region.
