COMMUNITY AND CHARITY WORK

We lead the way with Charity and Community Work and Tours by selecting our suppliers based on what they do in their local communities and also we try to support as much as we can local in our community and when we travel internationally. Owner, Cheryl Ryan, makes a point of supporting a variety of charities through 123Travel and below are just a few that we support.

Cheryl’s 2021 New Years resolution included a year of supporting, giving and education.

So far…

  • MARCH: Walking 96kms in March (the Kakoda Trail distance) for Returned Soldiers Mental Health
  • MARCH: Swimming 20kms in March (Laps for Life) for support of Mental Health & Wellbeing
  • MAY: The Bloody Long Walk -35kms in one day for MS
  • MAY: The 50Km Walk for the whole of March for a cure for mitochondrial disease (mito).
  • Days for Girls: Supporting Days for Girls advances menstrual equity, health, dignity and opportunity for all. We transform periods into pathways.
  • Seven Women Nepal: Empowering marginalised women in Nepal to reach their potential through education and employment.
  • India: Support for Delek Hospital TB & General Hospital in Northern India.
  • India: Support for Acid Attack Victims

Leaving Good Footprints is what travel is all about.

We are able to offer many tours that include volunteer work or just visit some of the charities we have elected to support. Just drop us a line if you would like some further information.
