Aircraft : You will fly on the King Air aircraft on this tour, traveling at speeds over 500km/h minimising time spent travelling between destinations. Being pressurised, the King Air allows us to fly above unpleasant weather when needed, without ‘bumping around’ at lower altitudes. You will fly in air-conditioned comfort with window seats for each guest, to simply relax and appreciate our vast country, in comfort.
Itinerary :
Day 1 : Visit Dirranbandi and Cubbie Station – a maintained cotton station for an indepth tour.
Next to a self-guided tour through Thargomindah’s Artesian Hydro Power Plant.
Stop in Leigh Creek, a former coal-mining town in eastern South Australia.
Accommodation :
Leigh Creek Outback Resort – Motel/Cabin Room.
Day 2 : Visit the world’s second largest geoglyph, Maree Man, standing 4.2km tall.
Lake Eyre scenic flight – pass over the lake from the south and north.
Fly to Anna Painted Hills for morning tea.
Visit William Creek and learn about its history for lunch.
Fly south to Marree and learn about its incredible history. Afternoon tea here.

Day 3 :
Fly over the Strzelecki Desert & the western corner of New South Wales and land in the town where the mineral-rich artesian water flows, Cunnamulla.
Here you will tour the town, have an outback lunch and then have an opportunity to bathe in Cunnamulla’s geothermal mineral pools.
Alternatively, you can spend your time at the Artesian Time Tunnel and learn about the Great Artesian Basin.
