Tanzania

Known for its diverse wildlife and wealth in natural wonders, Tanzania has made its mark as a haven for explorers who simply love fun and adventure. For most thrill seekers and travelers, Tanzania is the first name that comes to mind every time they hear the word “Safari”. While Tanzania is widely known for its intriguing animals and natural gems, a visit to this African country also allows you to enjoy a heap of cultural practices as well as savor delectable exotic foods.

Our Tanzania tour is not your typical safari expedition. As you wander around Tanzania with me, not only will you get close encounters with wild animals in their natural habitat, but you will also get an introduction to Tanzania’s fascinating culture and history. Basically, it is a 360-degree Tanzania experience that would create a plethora of unforgettable memories. Here are some of the highlights of our Tanzania tour:

The School of St. Jude

The School of St. Jude in Tanzania is the brainchild of Gemma Sisia, a remarkable kind-hearted woman who founded this school through her creative fundraising efforts. She believes that education is the best weapon to fight poverty.  This school provides free education to the underprivileged but smart kids in Arusha.

As part of our tour, you get a firsthand and week-long experience in the day-to-day life at St. Jude. Here, you can actively take part in the school’s activities, including a class visit, all access campus tour, home visits, school bus rides, and lunch with students and staff. For me, this part of the tour is a beautiful heart-whelming experience that you won’t forget.

Safari tour

A trip to Tanzania is simply not complete without experiencing its legendary safari adventure. Come with me, and dust off your hiking boots, as we head north in the wild outback and prepare to be awed at the wonder of nature and its rich wildlife.

The Serengeti National Park in Northern Tanzania is a migration ground for wildebeest and zebras once a year. Serengeti wouldn’t be host to numerous documentaries if not for its unrivaled wildlife. Even when it’s not migration season, The Serengeti National Park is still a top destination for the best safari expedition as it is also home to a number of interesting wild beasts such as lion, elephant, and rhinoceros, among others.

The Ngorongoro Conservation is a vast area with multiple land use. You can find thick forests, fine plains, savannahs and a tribe that co-exists with wildlife. In short, there is so much to see, discover and experience all in one place. What’s more, the Ngorongoro Conservation is home to the world’s largest caldera. Get some culture by visiting the Maasai tribe and enrich your history at the Cradle of Mankind or popularly known as Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists found the earliest human remains. If you are more of the athletic kind, trekking and mountain biking are also available for your pleasure.

Slather on some SPF as we head down south to Cape Town where one can find fine beaches that are worthy of a Blue Flag award. Cape Town is also home to the best vineyards as it is one of the world’s top producers of wine. Did you know that Cape Town was first called Cape of Storms by a Portuguese explorer? It was then changed to Cape of Good Hope because it paved the opening of a sea route to India from Europe.

Clifton’s Four Beachesare separated by huge granite boulders and boasts of a long stretch of powdery-white sand and turquoise waters. Swimming is relatively safe as there are lifeguards on duty during peak season. Clifton Beaches is also a good place for spotting celebrities on vacation.

The Groot Constantia Wine Farm is the oldest wine producing estate in South Africa. They have garnered five gold medals at International Wine Awards. Such is the quality of their wine that even Jane Austen mentioned about them in her classic novel, Sense and Sensibility. A guided tour to Groot Constantia’s cellar and wine tasting always makes a day delightful.

The Table Mountain provides a stunning backdrop as it remains visible no matter where you are in Cape Town. It has more flora than the entire British Isles which makes hiking more rewarding. It offers a magnificent view of the entire city and the Atlantic Ocean. If hiking isn’t your thing, a cable car can take you to the mountaintop in just five minutes. An eco-friendly restaurant is also available at the top serving good food and refreshing drinks.

From wildlife safari to stunning beaches, this tour is truly an all-in-one experience. You can trust us with your dream vacation as we take the business of leisure seriously. Just take our advice to pack light to make room for those African mementos that would surely have you clamoring for more at souvenir shops.
